Bishkek, Sept. 4, 17 / Kabar /. Football match between the national teams of Kyrgyzstan and Myanmar within the framework of the qualifying round of the Asian Cup in 2019 in Bishkek is canceled because of the possible threat of terrorist attacks, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government said.
The match was canceled in connection with the current situation in Myanmar, as well as with possible threats of terrorist attacks. Other details are not reported.
The game was to take place on Sept. 5 at the Dolon Omurzakov stadium in Bishkek.
Earlier the State Committee for National Security disseminated information about possible terrorist attacks in Kyrgyzstan and urged citizens to be attentive.
On March 29, Kyrgyzstan in the first match defeated the national team of Macau with a score of 1: 0, in the second match, lost to the team of India with a score of 0: 1.
According to Reuters, over 400 people were killed as a result of the conflict in Myanmar, located in southeast Asia, between government forces and Rohingya Muslims, which flared up a week ago.
